About PSST
Our Mission:
Pawsitive Solutions-Scranton TNR (PSST) is dedicated to the humane treatment of community cats through the use of Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, and Return. It is our goal to humanely reduce the population of feral cats in our community. We will maintain a progressive attitude towards animal welfare. We will grow, evolve, educate and adapt to our community needs. Community cat overpopulation is a community issue that deserves a community solution.
About:
PSST is the only organization in Osage County, Kansas whose mission is the Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return of community cats.
Pawsitive Solutions focuses on free-roaming community cats. We practice TNVR (trap/neuter/vaccinate/return) as the proven and most effective way to control overpopulation of community cats. Because there is no cat/dog shelter in our county, this also reduces the number of animals we are taking into other counties' shelters.
General Information:
PSST is working to reduce the free-roaming cat population in Scranton and Osage County through TNVR (trap-neuter-vaccinate-return), an approach widely recognized as the most humane and effective method for managing community cats. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that relies entirely on the generous support of our donors and volunteers.
